General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think it can be anxiety causing you to feel that bad and short of breath. You can use atenolol before flight to help you cope with it.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
