Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello I am 26 years old female. I was facing some problem from last 2 months. Sudden chest pain with vomiting then I had to take antacid injections it happened to me 5 times in a month. Then doc suggested for lft where my sgpt is 103 and sgot is 53 and alkaline phosphate is 472. What is that causing it? What can be the cure? Is it a serious problem? I don t drink at all I am a new mother of 6 months old baby.
It could be the pressure of the uterus against the digestive tract that is causing this. But GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) is a common occurrence with pregnant women and so I wiuld recommend the usual treatment and guidelines for GERD to be implemented, speak to your doctor about this.
Best wishes.
