What Causes Recurring Cough And Poor Memory?

I.m wondering if I should continue taking Montelukast 10 mg. I had a very bad cough 5-6 weeks ago and the doctor gave this to me to take daily. I notice my memory on many basic things is becoming forgetful frequently, more than normal. I also think the cough is coming back slowly, more frequent, the last few days. My doctor thinks it was a flareup of aszma from early childhood. ?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The cough doesn't relate to memory loss issues. I think these are two different things. Probably the cough has asthma origin so that's why doctor gave you montelukast.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
