What Causes Recurring Cough, Irritation In Throat And Stuffy Nose?
I don t want to go to the doctor unnecessarily, so I was researching my symptoms and this online option popped up so here goes. In the past 3 months I have this return cough I have gone to the doctor twice and she said it was my sinus draining causing irritation on my throat. My cough is back AGAIN my nose is stuffy as well. This cough is HORRIBLE, I have honestly never had a cough this irritating and unphased by over the counter medicines. My back is mildly achie, I have no fever. I cough so out of control today I urinated all over my self and could not stop coughing.
The chronic cough is most probably due to continuous drip caused by sinus infection. The status of sinuses needs to be assessed to know the cause of chronic drip. I suggest you to consult an ENT specialist for clinical assessment, relevant radio logical investigations and thus management of chronic sinusitis.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
