Understand your concern.
Pain during ovulation generally occur in girls.
It is due to egg that released during ovulation, along with it blood and fluid also released in some cases that irritate abdominal wall and lead to
abdominal pain.
It is generally mild and for 1-3 days without stabbing.
But if it is severe, stabbing and associated with nausea, it is need concern.
Following are the cause of it
1. Cyst in ovary
2. Endometriosis
3. Adshesion from prior surgery like
appendectomy that produce scar tissue and produce pain during ovulation
4. STDs: most commonly chlamydia, which produce inflammation in
Fallopian tube and hydrosalphynx.
So I think you should consult gynecologist as your pain is chronic and associated with nausea.
Do the following test
1. Pelvic examination
2. USG and Xray to exclude pelvic inflammatory disease
3. PCR and Nucleic acid amplification test
Following treatment currently will help you.
1. Tablet
meftal spas orally two times a day for cramps
2. Tablet ondansetrone 4 mg two times a day
3.Apply
heating pad over abdomen
4. Warm bath help in relieving pain.
