General & Family Physician 's  Response
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns.

You have been having diarrhea and lose stools for a long period of time. There are numerous reasons from having diarrhea. First it could be from diet and the different foods you eat. It could be due to absorption problems where you body is not absorbing the food. It could be due to infection from bacteria or even parasites. It could be a motility disorder where your bowels move too quickly and do't allow for food to digest. Lastly it could be from a inflammatory disorder like Crohn's disease.

I recommend since this is going on so long that you see your medical provider to run the appropriate tests to determine the cause of your diarrhea.
