Hello,
You have a history of minor
head trauma,
pernicious anemia & swimmer's ears. Presently you have recurring episodes of dizziness since you had head trauma it can be due to labyrinthine concussions (positional vertigo,
vestibular nerve injury, damage to saccule or utricle).
Avoid going into swimming pools until you are completely treated. Getting AOM,
acute otitis will only trigger the symptoms.
Take
vitamin B12 rich diet along with folic acid & minerals. Get pernicious anemia treated, neglect will only trigger neurological disorders.
Other causes for dizziness can be anxiety, stress, migraine or emotional/Psychological factors. Stay away from these & do regular exercises. Take adequate sleep. Stay well hydrated.
Visit an ENT & get physically examined. Get X-Ray PNS & audiometry test done to rule out any hearing disorders. Recurrent dizziness is commonly due to positional vertigo.
Avoid driving & get treated at the earliest.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
