What Causes Recurring Dull Pain Behind Right Earlobe In Skull?

My father is having a short dull pain every 15 or 20 seconds, just behind and over his right earlobe in his skull. The pain lasts just a second, but continues to repeat... continuing over the past 3 hours or so. He just had a physical, EKG, etc., with no issues reported.

I really appreciate your concern, it is better to rule out the possibility of impaction of ear wax in ear and another possible condition which could be the reason of pain, in differential diagnosis it could be trigeminal neuralgia hope this information helps.
