Dear Patricia, for recurrent ear infections you can take some antibiotics like cefadroxyl or augmentin after an expert opinion along with some anti-inflammatory agents like combiflam or powergesic with rantac or omez empty stomach. You can use some steroid containing antibiotic ear drops as your doctor suggest every 4-6 hourly as the problem is recurrent. Don't worry you will be fine soon. Thank you and take care
