I am a 50 year old female, in good health but it has been about a year that I get recurrent ear aches and sore throat on my left side. They will cease sometimes for 3 or 4 days, then the pain returns again at times only with an earche and at times with an earache and a sore throat. Sometimes it feels like I have an open sore on my throat. I had tonselloctomy about seven years ago. What can it be?
You are having the recurrent upper respiratory infection. You need to take betadine gargle thrice daily after food. You start an anti-allergic tablet Levocetirizine tablet at bedtime for 3 weeks.
This sore throat is causing referred pain in the throat. Take steam inhalation through mouth and nose thrice daily. If you have a running nose start nasal spray Fluticasone nasal spray 2 puffs twice daily for 1 month.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
