What Causes Recurring Episodes Of Cough Causing Spasms In The Chest?

I ve had some severe coughing fits, each leading to what feels like a spasm in my chest, then, the best way I can describe it is crinkled wires of hot pain flashing from the center of my chest out to my extremities, culminating in profound pain in my wrists, arms, and shoulders.

Based on your history I think this could be acute tracheobronchitis. But I suggest to meet a doctor and should make a pulmonary x-ray in order to define better.
