Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have reoccurring memory lapses, sometimes of the most obvious of things but I draw a complete blank. Sometimes I feel like I m not even present, but there are jumbled words coming out of my mouth that don t make sense. Then it clears and I m fine again.
Recurring memory lapses can occur due to transient ischemic episodes.
I suggest you consult your neurologist for clinical assessment and relevant investigations. Management can be done once a definitive diagnosis is made.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri, Pathologist and Microbiologist
