i got fever on sunday as i was went for a swim previousday ,it was a high fever and i took 2 tablets dolo 650 and the fever reduced but some times it comes again and if i take the tablet it reduces i went to a doctor he just wrote few medicins and sent me off but those medicins didnt workout for me and now i am feeling some what ill what it actuallie
I understand your concern regarding your recurrent fever. Any fever that does not subside within 2-3 days will need to be evaluated as it might be a bacterial cause. In case the fever is persisting i suggest you visit your physician . He/she would require answers to the following questions 1.How long is the fever? 2.What is the recorded temperature? 3.Was there shivering and chills along with it? 4.Any other symptom like cough or running nose? 5.Any other medical history like diabetes ?
A basic set of investigations like blood counts will also be done. These reports will give a diagnosis and treatment will be based on that.
