What Causes Recurring Headache And Pressure Behind Left Eye?

I am having recurring headaches/eye pressure behind my left eye. Could be migraines, never had them diagnosed. It seems to be more in my eye. I get them regularly and for most part close to same time a day usually multiple times a day.. Will have them for several weeks to a month and then none for a period of time. They last anywhere from 10 minutes to a couple of hours, but when I have them pretty intense discomfort and has caused vomiting on one occasion. Like I said discomfort seems to be coming from behind left eye but also in temple and when bad can cause sensitivity/pressure in my jaw, nose, face? Just eating advil and Tylenol. Probably started 18 months ago and chalked it up to migraines, but like I said have never had one prior to that and never been diagnosed. Sound typical for migraines?

Recurring headache at particular times,pain behind eye,vomiting may be due to migraine/cluster headache.
If I were your treating doctor,I recommend,
-Initial assessment through consultation with neurosurgeon and investigations like CT scan head will be required.
-Anti inflammatory analgesics like tab ibuprofen twice a day for couple of days
-Avoid triggering factors like alcohol,bright lights,noises.
Prefer to stay in calm,dark room when you get the attack.
