I have had a headache for the past 3 weeks on and off, associated with tunnel vision once, sore left shoulder, numbness in my face and left arm and just recently dizziness off and on, my doctor said it is migraines and is sending me for an MRI. Can a migraine last this long?? Its not horrible pain just pressure, I feel like its my sinuss, however my doctor said its not? A friend said it could be viral meningitis(but I don t have a fever) I m not sure what to do, any info regarding my symptoms would be appreciated

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Tunnel vision is a symptom of high intra-ocular pressure. Numbness of face, left arm, dizziness and sore shoulder could be due to cervical spondylosis. I suggest you to consult your ophthalmologist and neurologist for clinical assessment, diagnosis and thus management.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri, Pathologist and Microbiologist
