What Causes Recurring Heavy Bleeding During Periods?

sir/mam, i am 40 years old and suffering from heavy menstrual bleeding since last 20 months, usg reports 19mm even after d and c. biopsy has been found normal. i had taken 3 cycles of novelon followed with a normal usg immediately 12 months back, then was on registrone when the same problem reappeared. but there was no relief for 2 months when i was advised to take crina ncr for 20 days and followed with d and c plus biopsy which was normal. For 3 months post d and c was perfectly alright with no periods but was on fibroease. but the same problem again started when the ET was found to be 19mm so started with DUB 5 for 2 weeks. and today is first day of painful period do not know what would be the length of of menstrual flow, should i start pause mf today or is there any further advise???

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As a first line management drugs like tranexemic acid can be taken to control bleeding.

If symptoms persist you can consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
