What Causes Recurring High Blood Pressure With Shortness Of Breath?

I am 69 years old and have recurring high blood pressure. I cannot see my primary care until next week. My latest reading was 185/103. Everything I see says someone my age should have higher pressure. I will tell you I am having shortness of breath. What should I do?
