Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Recurring Itchy Spots In The Groin Area?
I have annually recurring very itchy spots that appear every late spring early summer. I ve been diagnosed with everything from Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, to Foliculitis to some alergic reaction. The spots appear in the groin area, side and backs of legs, on buttocks. There is no oozing or puss. Spots look at times like a raised mosquito bite, other times like a flat red smallish rash. No fever or other symptoms except that awful constant itching feeling.
