Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a 9 year old who has had a low grade fever (101-102) every night for 9 days. She wakes up in the morning feeling great-the last two days she was outside riding her bike-but then she slowly gets worse. At first it started around 2:00 but yesterday she made it until 5:00 and today it was almost 7. We went to the doctor on Tuesday. She said she thought it was a virus and to come back on Friday. On Friday she said it was still a virus and to come back Monday. Any thoughts on what else it could be? My mom says this is how I was when I had mono but my daughter doesn t seem to have any other symptoms.
