What Causes Recurring Lower Back Pain After Microdiscectomy?
Hello, I had a microdiscectomy on a large central herniation L4-5 about 6 months ago. Recovery had been going excellent, I had returned to my normal exercise routine. However, last week while exercising I felt a twinge of pain in my lower back. This past week, each day my back feels a little better but I still have twinges of nerve pain mostly in my lower back. Is it possible that this is just a minor set back?
HI Well come to HCM With the history of spine surgeries such symptoms could be likely and this may not be sign of anything wrong unless it is neurologically proved some pathological changes or post surgical events, if symptoms long last then this need to be clinically examined and for that you need to see the neurosurgeon, take care, have a nice day.
