I have a swollen recurring lump that last up to a month on my the inner part of my leg between my ankle and calf. It shows up on both legs at the same time and can last up to a month. It goes away and and will come back sometimes 6 to 8 months later. Any thoughts. No discoloration just a lump and feels like a bruise to the touch

General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
I can think of a calf cramp following excessive exertion. If it is big enough or a varicose vein. In case it's smaller in size. You need to get examined by a doctor to differentiate and take needful treatment.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
