What Causes Recurring Memory Lapses In A Child?

My son went to school this morning, when they were outside playing he left the colegs and went outside THE school premisis. THE teacher found him , but my son can not remember what he did. This happened few times and the teachers were worried about this and they informed me . Sametimes is feeling very sick with out vomiting.

I can understand your concern. Sudden onset abnormal behaviour with episodic memory loss in a school going child should be evaluated properly. Some stress at school might be the cause behind these symptoms. Consult a psychologist for that.

This could also occur due to some seizure discharge. In seizures some times memory loss like symptoms are seen. A neurological consultation and EEG is advised for that. If there is history of loss of consciousness and tightness of extremities then most likely this is seizure discharge. Visit a doctor for help.
