Neurologist 's  Response
Hello dear,
I can feel your concerns about your son.Migraine though is episodic headache but is not at all associated with memory loss.It is associated with syncope or black outs in about 10% of the cases and confusion in about 4% where he might have some difficulty in talking. It's hard to understand why a migraine patient will not be able to use his hands except episodically when he might be going through some visual aura.A black mole is apparently not causing all this and doctor told you to keep an eye on it to watch for any color or size changes(to be watchful for malignant conversion).Diagnosis of migraine appears to be in doubt here and you need to consult a neurologist,so that he may be properly examined and diagnosed.I hope it helps you.
