What Causes Recurring Miscarriages At The Age Of 34?
Hello I m a34 yr old woman 35 this December,I am trying to have another baby have been seen febuary, this year already have 2 sons 9 n 6.I miscarriages before both sons I ve also recently had 1 in April this yr I must of been only couple weeks as I didn t realise I was pregnant .may I had pregnancy test which everything fell into place with being pregnant and the time of the miscarriage.I also had blood test which from my gp which indicated been pregnant but that s understandable I had just had miscarriage month before .I ve had blood test since and its showing I m not ovulating, seen fertility doctor last Wednesday, she had advised check blood 21 day for 3 cycles for ovulation, and said I ve conceived both times before she didn t seem that worried as I thought she would have offered me something to help me ovulate on the first visit.
I have gone through your query and I would like to offer some suggestions. Firstly, you are unlikely to need ovulation induction since you conceived naturally. Secondly, the cause of the abortion can be a genetic defect or hormone insufficiency, these being the most common in the early months. A histopathological exam of the products would have been helpful. I would ask you to follow your doctor's instructions and plan further management.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Shanti Vennam
