What Causes Recurring Numbness In The Left Side Of Face And Hand?

I have had numbness on the left side of my face and left hand occasionally over the last 5 or 6 years lately it is happening several times a day. The first timenit happened the hospital didn t find anything wrong. Do I need to go have it checked again since itbis happining all the time now?
