What Causes Recurring Pain In Abdomen And Pelvic Area?

Hi I have been having on/off achy pains in my tummy and pelvis area can last weeks since sept2014 ive seen my doctor a few times had a urine infection 3 times had antibiotics but it still cmes and goes had swabs taking all clear is there n e other tests I shuld have?? They seen to think its always uti even if urines clear??

Hello, welcome to HCM. UTI is caused by microbes. Once the microbes are destroyed by antibiotics, UTI goes of. But the micro organisms should be sensitive to antibiotics you use. I hope you havetaken something related to levofloxacin 750mg once daily for a week. After the treatement definetly infection subsides.you also say urine is clear. You have not mentioned whether you have pain when you are passing last stream of urine with burning sensation. If you are feeling this then UTI is not treated properly.If these symptoms are not there, then pain is due to other causes. Please get one abdominopelvic scan to come to diagnosis.Take care
