What Causes Recurring Pain In Leg While Having Sciatica?
Hi i hv seen a doctor given me tablets for my painkiller of my leg it was sciatica i have never had any problem before in my life. i did some walking ok it was pain all my leg and today no pain top of my leg is gone now but now the lower pain came back after walking. what can i do now and what cause pain come back ?
Hi. Thanks for your query. Your Doctor has given you painkillers for a probable diagnosis of sciatica as ou have pain in the leg, which comes on walking. I would advise you the following as the pain in the leg looks like coming from sciatica only. - MRI of the lower spine. - Consultation of a Neurosurgeon or Orthopedic Surgeon. - Take an opinion of a Physiotherapist also if there is going to be no surgical intervention. - IF the disc is causing too much of a pain and or motor weakness on clinical evaluation, you may need a Surgery, hence be prepared for this too.
