What Causes Recurring Pain In Lower Abdomen And Testicles?

My son (21) has lower abdominal and testicular pain that is intermittent. He has seen Dr. and when he had his exam had not signs or symptoms. A lab work up was done but no results yet. Pain can be every three days or sometimes 2 times per day. He is now out of State for the summer. What do you suggest?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

There can be possibility of grade 1 or 2 varicocele or stone in the ureter giving referred pain to testicle. He requires an evaluation with Doppler ultrasound of the testicles with ultrasound of the abdomen & pelvis for final diagnosis and management guidelines accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
