What Causes Recurring Pain In Lower Back Radiating To Upper Part?
I have a small dimple near the top of my buttcrack (for lack of a better word). I ve just discovered it recently, and I m afraid it may be the culprit for my lower back pain. I ve had back pain for years, it starts in my low middle back and radiates down the left butt cheek. I also have terrible restless legs that keep my awake all night and make me feel helpless. What kind of doctor do I see about this?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have recurring pain in lower back radiating to upper part. Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to certain reasons like nerve compresson due to disc problem, trapezius trigger point , muscle spasm or wrong working posture . Consult orthopedic surgeon , who may order CT scan , MRI or x-ray . Doctor may recommend particular stretching exercises , physical therapy , which will be very helpful , muscle relaxant or anti inflammatory. In severe disc problem doctor may recommend surgery . For now apply warm compresses to upper and lower back several times a day , take proper rest , ask your doctor for right posture and take tylenol pain .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
