What Causes Recurring Pain In The Lower Part Of The Pelvis?
I have some pretty tough pain in the lower part of my pelvis. This has been recurring on and off for a few weeks. Right now the pain seems to be associated with the left tip of the bottom of the pelvic girdle. Doesn t seem to be in the hip joint. I have a history of sciatic pain from a blown L4/L5 about 12 yrs ago. Pain is worse when sitting, especially in a hard chair. Have taken two ibuprofen (twice) will little help.

Do visit your Neurosurgeon for this problem. If your spine comes clear then this will be muscle spasm. Muscle spasm can be easily treated. 1) Take burfen twice a day. 2) Warm compresses will soften your muscles. 3) Take good rest. 4) Physiotherapy is usually great. 5) Visit your neurosurgeon if there is something wrong with your spine he will treat that otherwise you can discuss starting a muscle relaxant this helps greatly.
You shouldn't every thing should be fine soon.
I hope this answered your question, If you have more queries I am happy to answer you. Regards.
Dr.Muhammad Ahmad
