What Causes Recurring Pain On Left Side Of The Groin Area?

Hi, from time to time I get a pain on my left side just about the groin area it is not too uncomfortable but the annoying pain is there. I have had this pain on and off over the years, but now it seems to be more frequent. I am female and 65 years old

I understand your concern.
Pain at left groin region could be caused due to ovarian cyst or it could be a pain due to infection in appendix.
In both cases abdominal sonography,urine routine and haemogram investigation can be helpful in clearing doubts.
So i would advice you to undergo the test mentioned and follow up with lab reports to a local physician.
