What Causes Recurring Painful Cysts On Thigh?

Hi, I have cyst on the side of my thigh. It appears as a raised bump like a pimple, but does not pop when pressed or squeezed. If I leave it alone, it goes away, but it comes back periodically. I can feel a sac-like ball when I press/squeeze it. Again, it is paintful, but no discharge or puss comes out when squeeze or pressed.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
From history it seems that there might be having sebaceous cyst.
When it becomes infected you get pain or increase in size.
Consult surgeon and get examined.
If there is cyst it is to be excised with complete removal of sac.
Do not press or squeeze the lump as it might precipitate the infection.
Ok and take care.
