What Causes Recurring Painful Spots On Rectum?

Hello. I have a recurrent ( once every couple of months) red pimple, almost like an ingrown hair that develops in the same spot at the beginning of the rectum ( right below the crack). Very painful to touch. I feel like popping it but, it really hurts and remains for a week or so. And there is only one. What to do?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, it may not be ingrowing hair but it could be some infective lesion, it is better to ruled out the deep seated abscess, try sitz bath, "Tab Ibuprofen 400 mg" three times in day, get done the routine test to rule out the infection hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
