Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Recurring Partial Loss Of Vision Post An Injury During Childhood?
I am 74 year old male. When I was around 12 years old, I was struck in the left eye with a clod of hard dirt. I went to a doctor at the time and had my eye cleaned out and wore an eye patch for two weeks. For over fifty years I have had (approximately 4 times per year) temporary partial loss of sight in this eye which lasts 15-20 minutes each time . I have been to ophathalmologists! None of them can find any reason for this to happen!
sir first of all this long back history dosen't correlate with the partial loss of vision today. if you are diabetic or hypertensive , that might be the reason.. we call it "amaroxic fugas ". get a opthalmoscopy done and consult a tertiary care ophthalmologist and also a physician
