Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have recurring bumps/rash on my fingers. Started on one hand but now is on both, usually middle and ring finger. It starts out as clear bumps and over the course of 2-3 weeks starts to turn brown/red/yellow and then eventually flakes off and the skin returns to normal. And then it starts all over again in another 2 weeks. It is not painful, and only very mildly itchy at certain points. Mostly it is just noticeable to look at and I m wondering what it is. I am a 30 year old white male and never had this problem until about 6 months ago it started. Any help is appreciated. Thanks. I attached some pictures.
The lesions on your fingers seem to be from dyshidrotic eczema which is a type of eczema that affects the hands and fingers and is treated with betamethasone cream. Sometimes the lesions come back so you can use the cream again. If no improvement with the treatment you will need to see a doctor.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
