What Causes Recurring Red, Itchy Splotches And Spots On Abdomen And Back?
My 12 year old daughter gets itchy red splotches and spots/dots on her abdomen and back. It mostly happens when she gets out of the shower. They don t show up anywhere else on her body. We use Tide Free and don t put fabric softener in the towels. He clothes don t seem to bother her, so I don t think it is an allergic reaction to anything. This has been going on for at least a year now. I asked her pediatrician about it, but she didn t seem to know. Any ideas would be great!

The symptoms seem to be related to eczema. I suggest using antihistamines such as Cetirizine 10 mg daily. I also suggest using Hydrocortisone cream for local application.
