What Causes Recurring Red Spots On The Chest And Blisters Around The Lips?
I was diagnosed with a mild case of shingles about 8 weeks ago was given a steroid shot and Acyclovir Rx. & cream. Which cleared it up. Then about 5 to 6 weeks after that I got small blisters above d the my lip and a few red spots on my chest. The blisters was only a day & then turned into a rash. Called the doctor she thought it was the shingles again so prescribed Acyclovir again. The cream seemed to make it worse & the Rx. didn t work. So I went back to the doctor she said it didn t look like shingles so gave me Prednisone. Which I took for 6 days, after the 2nd day it started to clear up by the 6th day it was gone. But then 2 days later came back. It is more like a rash with itching, tingling and burning and some swelling on the lip. My chest has just red spots which itch at times..seems to be worse in the morning and night. I called the Dr. again she gave me more Prednisone. What are your thoughts?
