General & Family Physician, Dr. Maninder's Response
Hi,
Red spots in children can have a lot of reasons but as per the presentation of your son, it points more towards allergic etiology. To back up this fact, it is relieved by the allergy medication/measure.
I suggest you to get a full allergy scan of your son so that the allergen could be identified and proper measures could be taken. Please talk to your health care physician to take an extensive approach.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Maninder, General & Family Physician
