What Causes Recurring Redness And Itching On Face?
Hello, I have redness on my cheeks , forehead and above eyes since more than a year. Doctor recommended to use Flutivate cream and now it has improved a lot. But if i don t use the cream even a day or two, i get again the same redness and itching on face. It increases on exposure to sun or heat, or deviation in temperature. Please advise for permanent solution. I am 27 years old Female. Height 5.4 inches and weight is 59 kg. Thanks

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of recurring redness and itching on face which occurs due to many reasons like excessive sun exposure or allergy . The other reason of red bumps can be a skin infection. Need not to worry. You should use face wash containing salicylic acid and apply kojic acid cream twice a day after washing face . Use sunscreen with SPF 15 while in exposure to sun to prevent skin from excessive sun damage. Exfoliate facial skin once a week to remove dead skin. Apply aloe vera gel at night. Drink plenty of fluids and water to hydrate yourself. Give cold compresses for itchiness. If condition persist even after month then consult dermatologist . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics , antiviral , steroid drugs (oral/topical) or isotretinoin.
