What Causes Recurring Sharp Pain In Abdominal Side With Black Pecks And Mucus In Stools?

I have a pain in my side really sharp at times been having for a while and lately there s been a lot of like mucus in my stool and black pecks and sometimes just black but the pain comes and goes don t matter what I eat or do is this something I should be worried about?

Hi I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.

Black colour stools with mucous in the stool may be due to ulcers( benign or cancerous).
Black colour indicates that blood is from upper part of the gut.
In case of lower git blood will be fresh.

Get an endoscope immediately.

Till then use high fiber diet and frequent small meals.

Take an iron and multivitamin tablet.

Consult a gastroenterologist as soon as possible.
