What Causes Recurring Sharp Pain In Left Upper Abdominal Area?
Yes, thank you! I have been having a sharp sudden pain in my left upper abdominal area over the last three weeks +/-. I can t tell what might be causing the pain, but Gall bladder complications do run in my family. The pain feels like a needle is being pushed across the upper left side of my abdomen under my ribcage.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have pain in left flank. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like kidney infection or stone , pancreatitis , IBS , indigestion or angina . I would suggest you to consult gastroenterologist for proper examination . Doctor may order stool test along with ultrasound and endoscopy . Doctor may prescribe ornidazole , laxative , omeprazole along with anaspas . Doctor may also refer you to cardiologist incase or angina . For now eat light and non spicy .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
