What Causes Recurring Sharp Pain In The Ankle Post An Injury?
So 4 years ago I rolled my ankle. About a year after everything was healed up it started to have a sharp pain in my ankle when I put pressure on it a certain way. I never saw a doctor about it cause my mom wouldn t take me. I dont know what s wrong with it.
It might be a contusion or sprain, As a first line management you can take analgesics like Paracetamol or Aceclofenac for pain relief. You can apply ice packs for faster recovery. If symptoms persists better to consult an orthopedics and plan for an MRI scan.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
