What Causes Recurring Sharp Pain In The Chest?
Hi, im male 39yrs old, and for the last couple of days i have been getting chest pains, never had anything feel like these so its hard for me to describe it, simple way to put it, right in middle of chest i have discomfort, i can take deep breaths just fine. it almost feels like pressure on my chest? if that make sense.. Wife thinks im having a heart attack, but surely id be in more discomfort?

Thanks for posting in HCM.
Well, discomfort and sharp pain in the chest could be due to two reasons:
1. Angina pectoris.
2. Acute gastritis.
You can rule out pathology of the heart by getting an ECG and Echocardiogram done.
Kindly consult Physician or Cardiologist for opinion.
If nothing seems abnormal, you need to be treated with antacids by taking Tablet.Esmaprazole once a day 30 minutes before food for gastritis.
