My 2 year old has recurring sore in his right ear. This has been going on for about a month and a half. Once, the sore was a blister type pustule filled with pus and blood. Last week it was a pimple type. But it s always in the right ear. He s been to his doctor twice and she says that it s dirt, he s a little boy. Then why doesn t it occur in both ears.
Hello. Thank you for writing us here. The most common diagnosis which could be made is otitis externa / media. Its very common in children. You should give the little baby antibiotics. Ofloxacin would do good. Its available in market as ZANOCIN 100 mg. It is to be taken for 5 days and the little prince would be alright after the course. Make sure the little prince is clean and don't mess up in dirt or anything unhygienic. God bless you and your little baby.
Best regards, Dr Gunjan
