What Causes Recurring Stiffening Of Neck With Right Sided Pain In The Temple?

For the past 9 months I have been getting a stiff neck, dizzy spells, hands and feet swelling...we found out I have high blood pressure and all other tests perfect...doctor put me on a diuretic and the swelling still wakes me up...for the past few weeks I will start off with episodes of a stiff neck and then lots of belching that then turns into right eye and temple pain to the point I almost feel like I am having a stroke..I feel like I am losing my mind

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, dizzy spells with stiff neck do indicate possible issue of intra-cranial structures as the duration is of 9 months. After thorough clinical evaluation and lab data, MRI brain may be of primary concern to diagnose the condition and cure accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
