Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query recurring swelling and redness on lips could be due to allergic reaction to either any irritant/ food particle or weather change or can be due to excessive sun exposure. You seems to have week immunity which is leading to allergic angioedema of lips. Need not to worry, you should consult an dermatologist/ allergist and get evaluated and in case of allergic reaction anti-allergic medications like Cetrizine and allerga will be very effective. You should apply cold compresses over the lips. You should avoid licking, biting or sucking the lips repeatedly. While going into sun always apply a SPF 16 containing lip balm. Drink plenty of water. Take diet rich in multivitamins.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
