What Causes Recurring Swelling In The Neck Glands Of A Child?
My daughter aged 7 has a large protrusion from one of her tonsils. She has a recent sore throat and has been tired and lethargic for a few months. She also has molluscum quite severely and cant seem to get rid of them. She has swollen glands in her neck which has been recurring for months. Could this be a sign of an immune system problem?
Swollen nodes indicate an infection in the nearby area. Possible causes like a sore throat or decayed tooth must be ruled out. A short course of antibiotics may be started empirically.

What Causes Recurring Swelling In The Neck Glands Of A Child?
Hello, Swollen nodes indicate an infection in the nearby area. Possible causes like a sore throat or decayed tooth must be ruled out. A short course of antibiotics may be started empirically. If the selling persists better to consult a pediatrician and get evaluated. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
