Hello,

I need to know what is your age and if you have some other illnesses like hypertension, diabetes or any heart condition.

Yes it could be due to muscular spasms however other possibilities should be ruled out.

I suggest you to visit your doctor if your pain is not settling with over the counter medications like Paracetamol.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. SAMEEN BIN NAEEM
