General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the tunnel vision on recurrent episode indicates inflammation induced edema or compression over the parts of retina with secondary changes in peripheral vision. These types of conditions are auto immune related in most of the instances.

However, in my clinic, I do recommend thorough ophhthalmologic examination with lab evaluation of certain antibodies to look into the cause of the same.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
