What Causes Recurring Viral Infections And Cold Sores In A Child?

Hello. I have a 9 year old son who continues to get cold sores and has just recently picked up verrucasand has a pimple type thing on his arm. His personal hygiene is quite good. He is mildly asthmatic. This year he seems to b picking up a lot of viral infections. He takes a multivitamin and prior to this would never had got anything. Is he lacking some vitamin and what can b taken to improve immune system. I would appreciate your feedback. Thks Marie

Since he is already using multivitamins, you may want to consider adding probiotics to his supplements to see if this helps.

Probiotics help with immunity, a large percentage of the body's immunity is in the gut and probiotics have been shown to improve this.

In addition the use of a wide range of fruits and vegetables to ensure that he is receiving as many minerals and vitamins as possible, would be helpful as well.
